Chaplain (Maj.) Mark A. Johnston, 38th Air Defense Artillery Brigade chaplain, and special guest Chaplain (Capt.) David Clemente, 1st Battalion, 1st Air Defense Artillery Regiment chaplain, visit Hacksaw Ridge, Okinawa, Japan and discuss how Desmond Thomas Doss, a United States Army corporal who served as a combat medic with an infantry company during World War II, remained resilient and served a higher purpose, helping one person at a time until he ended up saving 75.

Doss was twice awarded the Bronze Star Medal for actions in Guam and the Philippines and further distinguished himself in the Battle of Okinawa by saving 75 men, becoming the only conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor for his actions during the war.
