KEFLAVÍK, Iceland — (Sept. 10, 2025) U.S. Navy explosive ordnance disposal technicians, assigned to EOD Mobile Unit 8, conduct an improvised explosive device drill using a remotely operated robot, while training alongside forces from 17 Allied nations during Northern Challenge 25. The annual exercise, hosted by the Icelandic Coast Guard, sharpens warfighting readiness and strengthens multinational interoperability in complex explosive ordnance disposal operations to ensure U.S. forces and Allies remain ready to fight and win together.
