U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit
Oct. 31, 2018 | 0:23
Sgt. Jacob Hetherington, a Prescott, Arizona native, sends his hometown recruiting greeting back home.
Since he joined the Army in 2015, Hetherington has been a member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Action Shooting Team, which is stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia.
Hetherington competes in U.S. Practical Shooting Association and International Defense Pistol Association style matches and has won a number of national titles.
Most recently, the Soldier claimed the USPSA Area 4 Production Champion title.
Being a competitive shooter and marksmanship trainer is just one job in the Army, which includes over 150 job skill options. If you are interested in joining the Army, make sure you contact your local recruiting station and visit www.goarmy.com for more details.
