Philippine Army soldiers from the 5th and 7th Infantry Divisions and U.S. Army Soldiers conduct a combined mortar live-fire exercise at Fort Magsaysay, Philippines, April 12, 2025, during Salaknib 2025. The training enhanced indirect fire proficiency, fire direction coordination, and interoperability between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Army. Salaknib is an annual bilateral exercise focused on strengthening readiness, partner capacity, and regional security. (U.S. Army photo by Spc. Taylor Gray, U.S. Army Pacific Public Affairs)
