AECE 2019: Realistic Training During Mass Casualty Scenario
1st Marine Logistics Group
Sept. 13, 2019 | 1:37
Marines and Sailors with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Alaska integrated to train in a mass casualty exercise to maintain preparedness and efficiency aboard the USS Somerset (LPD-25) on Sept. 13, 2019. The training proved the concept of being able to provide support in challenging terrain and climates. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel participated in Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE), a joint training exercise that tested expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Artic region and prepared joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
