Wisconsin medics learn about athletic injuries

Madison, Wis. - A University of Wisconsin athletic training student shows a medical privacy tent to Wisconsin Army National Guard medics Sgt. Michelle Baum and Spc. Zachary Bornemann on the Wisconsin Badgers sideline at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wis., before the football game Nov. 11, 2017. The Wisconsin National Guard medics participated in Operation Badger Medic Nov. 7-12, a program where they partnered with University of Wisconsin athletic trainers for five days to learn about evaluating and treating soft-tissue and orthopedic injuries.
