BRIGADIER GENERAL DAVID M. DZIOBKOWSKI

Brig. Gen. David Dziobkowski served as the Air National Guard Assistant to the Air Force Legal Operations Agency. In this capacity he served as a member of the ANG Judge Advocate Council and executed the vision of the ANG Assistant to the Judge Advocate General of the Air Force and the Director of the Air National Guard to build and maintain a ready/relevant operational ANG Judge Advocate General Corps (JAGC), ensuring that ANG Wings are fully staffed, trained and equipped with the capacity to provide timely/capable legal support to the U.S Air Force and Air National Guard. Developed and implemented the full-range of policies and programs for ANG Judge Advocates and paralegals on behalf of TJAG and the Director, Air National Guard, providing management oversight for the proper training and mission readiness of all ANG JAGC members.
General Dziobkowski served as the Director, Rule of Law, United States Forces – Afghanistan, responsible for directing and coordinating military and civilian rule of law planning and execution in support of Operation Resolute Support and served as the direct liaison for US and coalition forces with the U.S. Embassy and other U.S., NATO, and Afghan governmental and non-governmental agencies.
Prior to his deployment he served briefly as the United States Property and Fiscal Officer for Wisconsin and, prior to that assignment, he served as the senior full-time legal advisor to the Adjutant General of Wisconsin. Concurrently, General Dziobkowski performed additional duty on the ANG Judge Advocate Council as the program lead for ANG Judge Advocate and paralegal participation in international legal engagement, security cooperation and State Partnership programs.
General Dziobkowski previously served on active duty in leadership and staff assignments at the platoon through division level with the 3rd Infantry Division (Germany) and the 82nd Airborne Division (Fort Bragg, NC), including service as an airborne infantry company commander during Operation Desert Storm. After leaving active duty, General Dziobkowski joined the Wisconsin Air National Guard serving as the Staff Judge Advocate, 115th Fighter Wing, and Headquarters, Wisconsin Air National Guard.
