BRIGADIER GENERAL HAROLD J. STEARNS

Brigadier General Stearns assumed duties as the Assistant Adjutant General of Montana in January of 1995. As the Assistant Adjutant General he is responsible to the Adjutant General for the Army National Guard of Montana.

The General's Career began in 1963 in the Montana Army National Guard. In 1967 he took his Commission as an Artillery Officer. Prior to this assignment, Brigadier General Stearns served as Commandant of the Montana Military Academy, and most recently as the Deputy State Area Commander, Montana Army National Guard.
