BRIGADIER GENERAL TERRILL K. MOFFETT

Retired effective Apr 14, 2000 

Brigadier General Terrill K. Moffett was appointed commander of 66th Troop Command, Mississippi Army National Guard in June 1999. As commander, he guides the formulation, development, training and implementation of all programs and policies affecting the 66th Troop Command's 5100 citizen soldiers.

The General's active military service began on 9 June 1971. He was commissioned an infantry officer upon graduation from the United States Military Academy. Prior to this assignment, General Moffett served as State Mobilization Officer for headquarters, State Area Command and as Battalion Commander of Headquarters, 1st Battalion, 198th Armor. He also completed the United States Army War College Resident Course as a Harvard Fellow.

CIVILIAN OCCUPATION:

General Moffett is a trial lawyer and owner of Moffett Law Firm, PLLC, where he is responsible for the supervision of two attorneys that work for his firm as well as other employees. Duties include meeting with clients, supervising scheduling of cases, assigning cases, monitoring the progress of cases, and ultimately bringing cases to trial.
