Brigadier General Gerald C. Olesen serves as assistant adjutant general for Air, Wisconsin Air National Guard. General Olesen began his military career by enlisting in the United States Air Force in 1967. After completing four years on active duty, he transferred to the Air National Guard where he later received his commission as a second lieutenant in 1978 after graduating from the Academy of Military Science.
