BRIGADIER GENERAL EUGENE A. SEVI

 

Brigadier General Eugene A. Sevi is the assistant adjutant general for air, Vermont National Guard State Headquarters, Camp Johnson, Colchester, Vt. He is responsible for developing, coordinating, administering, and advising on all policies, plans, and programs affecting the more than 900 Vermont Air National Guard members.

Previously, General Sevi served as Civil Engineering Squadron Commander and Support Group Commander for the 158th Fighter Wing. In those capacities he commanded numerous overseas construction and humanitarian deployments. He also served for a year as the Chief of the Military Liaison Team in Macedonia. When the Kosovo crisis occurred, General Sevi worked with the U.S. Embassy in Macedonia to coordinate with NATO command elements and non-government aid agencies in responding to the influx of about 300,000 refugees. Prior to joining the Vermont Air National Guard, General Sevi was a Civil Engineer Corps officer in the U.S. Navy. He received his commission through the Navy ROTC program.
