Major General Daniel Densford serves as the Deputy Commander, Army Guard Headquarters, Texas Army National Guard. Prior to his current assignment, General Densford served as the Deputy Assistant Adjutant General and Commander, 71st Troop Command, Camp Mabry, Austin, Texas.
Major General Densford began his military career in 1967. After being commissioned as an Armor officer, he served a tour with the 101st Airborne Division in the Republic of Vietnam. He has held command and staff positions from tank platoon through State Headquarters, leading to his current assignment.
