Director of Mobilization Forces, United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM)

Brigadier General Larry Haub assumed duties as Director of Mobilization Forces, United States Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), Ft. McPherson, GA, on 24 March 2003. As Director of Mobilization Forces, he is principal general officer assistant to the FORSCOM Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations for matters pertaining to the mobilization and employment of Reserve Component units and individuals. Responsible for direction and oversight of unit sourcing of validated mobilization requirements and the resultant range of FORSCOM activities associated with the alert, mobilization, training, validation, and deployment functions. Major additional responsibilities for RC aspects of contingency operations, training and homeland security.
The General's military career began in 1965. He was commissioned as a Field Artillery officer upon completion of Officer Candidate School. Brigadier General Haub has served as Commander 158th Field Artillery and Commander 45th Field Artillery Brigade.
