BRIGADIER GENERAL JAMES C. BURDICK


jcb.jpg (4558 bytes)Brigadier General James C. Burdick is the Director of Operations at the Headquarters New York Air National Guard, Latham, NY. He is responsible for formulation, developing and coordinating policies and plans. He monitors standardization and ensures combat readiness for more than 6,000 New York Air Guardsmen.

The general began his military career by receiving his commission through the Air National Guard in 1966. He has been a member of the New York Air National Guard from 1970 to the present. He held the following positions while flying T-33, F-100C, F101, F4C/D, F-16A/ADF, KC-136R aircraft: Tactical Fighter Pilot, Instructor Pilot, Flight Commander, Squadron Operations Officer, Group Standardization Board Flight Examiner.
