BRIGADIER GENERAL RONALD W. HENRY

Retired effective Jul 15, 1999

Brigadier General Ronald W. Henry assumed duties as the Deputy Commander of State Area Command, in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 1, 1997. As, Deputy Commander, he provides guidance on the development of maintenance and mobilization plans for Camp Atterbury.

Brigadier General Henry began his career as an enlisted soldier for the Indiana Army National Guard in 1959. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in July 1965 after graduating from Indiana Military Academy. Prior to his current assignment, Brigadier General Henry served as the Commander of Detachment 2 (Troop Command) Headquarters State Area Command and most recently served as the Assistant Adjutant General, Army, Headquarters State Area Command where he acts for The Adjutant General as directed.
