BRIGADIER GENERAL MICHAEL W. BEAMAN

Assistant Division Commander, 34th Infantry Division

Brigadier General Michael W. Beaman assumed duties as Assistant Division Commander, 34th Infantry Division, St Paul, Minnesota, June 1, 2004. As Assistant Division Commander (Support), he assists the commanding general in all logistical operations and oversight for the Division Support Command.

The General's military service began in 1972. He was commissioned an infantry officer in 1974 following Officer Candidate School. Prior to assuming duty as the Assistant Division Commander, 34th Infantry Division, he served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Training for the Joint Force Headquarters, Iowa National Guard.
