CIVILIAN OCCUPATION
Brigadier General Ginn serves as the Adjutant General of Mississippi and Commanding General of both the Mississippi Army and Air National Guard. In this dual role, he is the senior military advisor to the Governor and holds responsibility for the readiness, training, and operational oversight of more than 10,754 Citizen Soldiers and Airmen. He leads the Mississippi Military Department and directs the formulation, coordination, and execution of all policies, plans, and programs affecting the Mississippi National Guard. His leadership ensures that the force is fully prepared to support both state and federal missions, including emergency response to natural disasters and homeland defense operations. General Ginn collaborates closely with the Governor, Legislature, and Department of Defense to align state and national defense priorities.
