BRIGADIER GENERAL (DR.) JACKSON L. DAVIS III

                                                                                                        Retired effective Nov 30, 2000

Brigadier General (Dr.) Jackson L. Davis III is the Air National Guard assistant to the command surgeon, Air Mobility Command, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He serves as the senior medical Air National Guard advisor to the command surgeon of the Air Mobility Command and provides medical liaison between the active Air Force and the Air National Guard.

The general was commissioned in the Air Force in 1966 upon completion of the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He entered active duty in 1970 after receiving his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, Washington, D.C. He is a command flight surgeon with more than 800 flying hours.
