BRIGADIER GENERAL JENIFER E. PARDY
Brig Gen Jenifer E. Pardy is the Director, Joint Staff for the Oregon National Guard. She serves as the principal advisor to The Adjutant General to ensure all military and state operations are conducted in alignment with strategic priorities through supervisory and functional oversight of the Joint, Army, and Air Component Chiefs of Staff. She also provides direct oversight of personnel, facilities, budget, security, integrated primary prevention and the state partnership programs. General Pardy manages and directs the day-to-day administration, planning, and execution of Joint Staff programs preparing Oregon for federal and state contingency operations in response to man-made or natural disasters. She ensures contingency plans provide for proper employment of the National Guard as well as external assets in response to a wide range of emergency situations.
General Pardy enlisted in 1984 as a member of the Air Force Reserves in Sacramento, California. After relocation to Portland, Oregon in 1993 she transferred to the Oregon Air National Guard. Upon graduation as a 2nd Lieutenant from the Academy of Military Science, Knoxville, Tennessee in July 1998, she was appointed as Chief, Customer Support for the 142d Mission Support Flight in Portland, Oregon. In October 2004, General Pardy was assigned to Joint Force Headquarters, Salem, Oregon in various positions which culminated in the Deputy Director of Staff, where she advised the Oregon Air National Guard Commander and Director of Staff on matters encompassing the units of the Oregon Air National Guard. In March 2010, she was re-assigned to the 142d Wing as Comptroller Flight Commander, serving as the principal financial advisor to the 142d Wing Commander. In June 2015, General Pardy was assigned as Mission Support Group Commander where she led over 400 personnel in support of base operations. She was assigned as the Director of Staff – Air in 2017 where she served as the senior, full-time military advisor to The Adjutant General and the Oregon Air National Guard Commander. Prior to her current assignment she served as the Joint Chief of Staff, coordinating across Army, Air, and State components to ensure all military and state operations throughout Oregon were conducted in alignment with The Adjutant General’s strategic priorities
