BRIGADIER GENERAL JEREMIAH S. TUCKER

Brig Gen Jeremiah Tucker serves as the Deputy Director, Joint Forces Development and Training (J7), Headquarters United States Space Command, one of 11 Unified Combatant Commands under the Department of Defense responsible for deterring conflict and defending U.S. and Allied freedom of action in Space. In his previous assignment, Brig Gen Tucker served as 140th Wing Commander, Buckley Space Force Base, Colorado, leading over 1650 personnel in the execution of F-16C+ fighter, ground mobile missile warning, space electronic warfare, and civil engineering missions.

Brig Gen Tucker earned his commission in 1999 from the Academy of Military Science, Knoxville, Tennessee. He graduated from joint undergraduate pilot training, Vance Air Force Base (AFB), Oklahoma and completed F-16 qualification training at Luke AFB, Arizona before returning to the 120th Fighter Squadron, Buckley AFB, Colorado Air National Guard in 2001. He has extensive combat, command, training, exchange, and staff experience across multiple CCMDs, MAJCOMs, and global theaters of operation.

Brig Gen Tucker’s previous assignments include the 140th Vice Wing Commander, the Senior Executive Officer to the Director of the Air National Guard, the Commander of the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC), and the NGB/A8X Strategic Planning Division Chief. Prior to his current position, the general was the Air National Guard Director of Air Staff, Buckley SFB, Colorado.
