BRIGADIER GENERAL KALLIE D. KUEHL

 
Official Photo Brigadier General Kallie D. Kuehl is the Chief of Staff, Joint Force Headquarters, New Mexico Air National Guard, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. As Chief of Staff, Brigadier General is responsible for the implementation of the New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) strategic vision and the leadership of Joint Force Headquarters air staff. Provides strategic counsel and management for the entire NMANG, comprising over 1,000 Airmen.

Brigadier General Kuehl enlisted in the Air Force in 1995 and was an Honor Graduate from Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas in July 1996. General Kuehl served with the Texas Air National Guard, Wyoming Air National Guard and Oregon Air National Guard until she commissioned in May 2001 through the Direct Appointment Program. She then served on active duty until separating in January 2007 to join the Air Reserve Component as a Judge Advocate General (JAG). As a Reserve JAG, she served as the Reserve Coordinator for 377 ABW/JA, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. After serving as Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) for many years, General Kuehl joined the New Mexico Air National Guard (NMANG) where she held positions of increasing responsibility, including as 150th Special Operations Wing (SOW) Deputy Staff Judge Advocate, 150th SOW Wing Staff Judge Advocate, NMANG State Staff Judge Advocate (SSJA), in addition to serving as interim Vice Wing Commander for the 150th SOW. Brigadier General Kuehl is Dual Status Commander qualified. In her civilian practice, Brigadier General Kuehl is the Senior Center Attorney for the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Kirtland AFB, specializing in the fields of contracts, acquisition, ethics, and procurement law.

Prior to assuming the Chief of Staff position, Brigadier General served as the State Staff Judge Advocate (SSJA), Joint Force Headquarters-Air, New Mexico Air National Guard, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico.
