Director of the Joint Staff of the South Dakota National Guard. Responsible for the makeup and actions of the Joint Staff of the South Dakota National Guard. Responsible to organize, train, man, and equip the Joint Staff. The Joint Staff is made up of a combination of Army and Air National Guard members. The Director of the Joint Staff is responsible to make the Joint Staff capable to plan and train to react to emergency situations and respond accordingly to support the State of South Dakota and the nation.
