CIVILIAN OCCUPATION
Serves as the State Quartermaster for the Military Division, Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Responsible for the care and custody of all National Guard armories, readiness centers, land, and installations held for military purposes and all other military property of the Commonwealth except property that, by law, is expressly entrusted to the keeping of others. The State Quartermaster shall be the adviser to the Military Division on all technical matters involved in the construction, alteration, and repair of all structures and installations intended for the use of the armed forces of the Commonwealth. Collaborates with the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance, and the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security within the Commonwealth on National Guard facilities and property management. Collaborates with the National Guard Bureau and Construction and Facility Management Office to leverage federal and state funding for the betterment of all facilities. Clerk of the Armory Commission and Associate Commissioner of the Special Military Reservation Commission.
