BRIGADIER GENERAL TODD A. WILES

Brig. Gen. Todd A. Wiles is the Tennessee Air National Guard Chief of Staff. He is responsible for the command, control, and operations plans and programs affecting more than 3,400 Airmen of the Tennessee Air National Guard. His range of responsibilities include ensuring the combat readiness and domestic operation response capabilities of Tennessee’s three Wings and two Geographically Separated Units.

General Wiles earned his commission as a Distinguished Graduate of the Western Kentucky University Air Force ROTC program in 1995. He is a command pilot with more than 4,100 flight hours and more than 339 combat hours in the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the MQ-9 Reaper. General Wiles has held assignments in the active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard, and has commanded at the flight, squadron, group, and wing levels. Additionally, during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Brig Gen Wiles served with the 3rd Infantry Division as a brigade Air Liaison Officer.

Prior to his current assignment, General Wiles commanded the 118th Wing and was dual hatted as the installation commander of Joint Base (JB) Berry Field, Nashville, Tennessee.
