BRIGADIER GENERAL FRANCISCO J. DOMINGUEZ
Brig Gen Francisco J. Dominguez is the Deputy Assistant Adjutant General for Air, Ohio National Guard. He is responsible to the Ohio Adjutant General for directing Air National Guard operations in support of State and Federal missions and establishing policy to ensure mission readiness of more than 5,000 personnel in four flying wings and four geographically separated support units.
Brig Gen Dominguez was commissioned through the Academy of Military Science in 1996. He completed Communications-Electronics Officer training in 1997 and held a variety of technical and leadership roles as a Drill Status Guardsman through 2010 when he transitioned to full time status with the Air National Guard. He has deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in leadership roles deploying critical cyberspace-communications infrastructure across the CENTCOM area of operations. Additionally, he led Engineering Installation forces to constitute the cyberspace infrastructure for the relocation of the Western Space Range launch operations and the co-location of 14AF, C/JFSCC, and Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC) at Vandenberg AFB, Calif. He holds qualification as a United States Northern Command Joint Task Force and Dual Status Commander. Prior to his current assignment, the General was the Deputy Commander, 178th Wing, Springfield, Ohio.
Brigadier General Dominguez has held various technical and program leadership roles in the civilian sector during his time as a Drill Status Guardsman, including systems and services engineering, Agile project management, first and second level technical supervisory roles, and enterprise and worldwide program management.
