BRIGADIER GENERAL DAVID A. PREISMAN
Brigadier General David A. Preisman is the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Global Operations, United States Strategic Command, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. As Mobilization Assistant, he is responsible for the integration of Reserve Component Forces into USSTRATCOM global assurance and deterrence missions.
Brig Gen Preisman received commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Virginia Tech in May 1995. He has commanded at the squadron and group levels. His operational flying assignments include Airborne Emergency Actions Officer on the E-6B Looking Glass, instructor and evaluator Tactical Coordinator on the RC-135V/W RIVET JOINT, and instructor navigator on the T-43. Brig Gen Preisman has also served as a Presidential Advance Agent and has traveled worldwide in support of Air Force One. In 2005, Brigadier General Preisman accepted a full-time position with the Nebraska Air National Guard.
He has flown in several combat and contingency operations including Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, SOUTHERN WATCH, and ALLIED FORCE. He is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School and a master navigator and electronic warfare officer with over 3,700 flight hours including over 1,000 combat/combat support hours. Prior to his current position, General Preisman was the Acting Mobilization Assistant to Director of Global Operations, United States Strategic Command, Offutt AFB, Nebraska.
