MAJOR GENERAL CHRISTOPHER K. FAUROT
Maj Gen Christopher K. Faurot is the Mobilization Assistant at Indo-Pacific Command, Camp Smith, Hawaii. He is the principal advisor responsible for effective integration of the Reserve Component in support of the Combatant Commander’s theater campaign plan.
General Faurot was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and is a 1989 graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation. He has served in a variety of positions at the squadron, group, wing, and headquarters level and flown as an Aircraft Commander, Mission Commander, Instructor Pilot, and Evaluator Pilot.
General Faurot is a Command pilot with over 2,600 hours in the C-17A, F-22A, F-15A/B/C/D, T-38, and T-37 aircraft, including combat sorties in support of Operations Provide Comfort II and Southern Watch. Prior to his current assignment, General Faurot was the Assistant Adjutant General-Air, and Commander, Guam Air National Guard.
