BRIGADIER GENERAL DAVID J. "MUDD" CIESIELSKI

Brig. Gen. David J. Ciesielski serves as the Special Assistant to the Air National Guard Readiness Center Commander, Air National Guard Readiness Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. In this capacity, he advises the Commander on force design impacts to the Air National Guard as a result of the Secretary of the Air Force's Great Power Competition reorganization to include Units of Action, ANG Warrant Officer Program, and the ANG's new Recruiting Command.

General Ciesielski graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served in the Air Force for 11 years as a Manpower and Personnel Officer in Air Combat Command, Air Education and Training Command, and Headquarters Air Force. As a member of the Air National Guard for the last 15 years, he managed the component’s full-time personnel program, manpower program, and the Future Years Defense Program. He has held multiple commands, was Military Defense Advisor to United States Senator Ron Wyden, Oregon, and served as Director of Air Staff, Arizona Air National Guard Headquarters. Prior to his current position, the general was the Director for Manpower, Personnel, Recruiting and Services, Air National Guard Readiness Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
