BRIGADIER GENERAL RAYMOND H. SIEGFRIED, III

Brig. Gen. Raymond H. Siegfried III was the Assistant Adjutant General, Oklahoma Air National Guard. He was the principle advisor to The Adjutant General for Oklahoma for all Oklahoma Air National Guard matters. Brigadier General Siegfried was also responsible for the combat readiness and operational effectiveness for all Oklahoma Air National Guard units.

General Siegfried received his commission in the Oklahoma Air National Guard in 1993 and completed pilot training in 1995. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tulsa. General Siegfried has flown more than 2,600 hours in the F-16, 40 combat sorties, and 180 hours of combat time. He has deployed on contingency operations to nations including Turkey, Kuwait, and Qatar in support of Operations Provide Comfort, Northern Watch, Southern Watch, and Iraqi Freedom. In his civilian life he is Chief Executive Officer for Vertical Aerospace, a commercial aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul business located outside of Tulsa, Okla.

Prior to his prior assignment, General Siegfried was the Commander, 138th Fighter Wing, Tulsa, Okla. As the commander, he was the senior officer responsible for organizing, training, and equipping of over 1,200 personnel.
