CIVILIAN OCCUPATION
The Adjutant General is the senior leader of the Minnesota National Guard, which includes the Army National Guard, the Air National Guard and all joint (combined Army and Air Guard) units and personnel in Minnesota. Serve as the administrative head of the state’s Department of Military Affairs whose duties and responsibilities defined in Minnesota State Statute 190.09. Serves for a term of seven years and is a state employee appointed by the governor of Minnesota.
