BRIGADIER GENERAL PAUL N. LOISELLE

Brig. Gen. Paul N. Loiselle was the Assistant Adjutant General – Air, Puerto Rico National Guard, and the Commander of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard. He served as the chief advisor to The Adjutant General on all matters pertaining to Air National Guard programs, policies, operations, management and command and control of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard. He also provided staff guidance and direction concerning Air National Guard personnel, administration, training, recruiting and retention, logistics, transportation, and budgetary matters. Furthermore, he served as the Region II Chair for the Joint Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council for the National Guard.

General Loiselle is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and received his commission as a health services administrator in 1992. He subsequently became deputy commander of the 157th Medical Group in October 2005 and then commander in March 2009. Shortly thereafter, he deployed to Bagram Air Base as the senior medical liaison officer to all coalition hospitals in Afghanistan. General Loiselle also served as the chief of the Joint Staff and director of staff-air, New Hampshire Joint Force Headquarters, Concord, N.H. Afterwards, he served as the commander of the 157th Mission Support Group, where he was responsible for overseeing operations of the Civil Engineer Squadron, Security Forces Squadron, Force Support Squadron, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Communications Flight, and Contracting. Next, the general served as the New Hampshire Air National Guard KC-46 Conversion Chief, Pease Air National Guard Base, N.H. Prior to his former position, General Loiselle was the Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff for the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico.
