MAJOR GENERAL MICHAEL T. GEROCK
Retired
Maj. Gen. Michael "Troy" Gerock is the Special Assistant to the Director, Air National Guard, Washington, D.C. General Gerock was commissioned in 1994 from the Air National Guard's Academy of Military Science. He has supported multiple contingencies, exercises and special flying missions including Southern Watch, Joint Forge, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Freedom's Sentinel while logging more than 3500 hours in the C-130H, C-40C, and C-17A aircraft. General Gerock's notable staff assignments include Chief of Air National Guard Programs; Principal Deputy Director of Air, Space, and Information Directorate; and Director for Manpower, Personnel, Recruiting and Services.
General Gerock has previously commanded at the squadron, group, and wing levels. Prior to his current assignment he served as the Commander, Air National Guard Readiness Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
