MAJOR GENERAL MEAGHAN Q. LECLERC

Major General Meaghan LeClerc was the Air National Guard Assistant to the Judge Advocate General (TJAG) of the United States Air Force. She assisted TJAG and the Director of the Air National Guard (DANG) by providing leadership and planning for all ANG legal offices, including some 550 judge advocates and paralegals throughout the nation. As the senior member of the ANG JA Council, General LeClerc ensures that the JAGs and paralegals performing national duties assist the ANG legal community in advancing the priorities of TJAG and DANG. General LeClerc also served as the JA representative on the ANG Strategic Planning System Steering Committee.
General LeClerc received a direct commission as an Air Force judge advocate and entered active duty in 1992. During her six years on active duty she served in the base legal office at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, and in the contract law office of the Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. General LeClerc separated from active duty in 1998 and joined the Massachusetts Air National Guard. She served as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate and the Staff Judge Advocate of the 102d Fighter Wing. She became a National Additional Duty Judge Advocate in 2011 and served as the Course Director and an instructor for the Contemporary Base Issues course. General LeClerc became the ANG Assistant to the Air Reserve Component Advisor to the Judge Advocate General in 2013 and the ANG Assistant to the Staff Judge Advocate, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, Virginia in 2015. Prior to her current position she was the Air National Guard Assistant to the Deputy Judge Advocate General.
