BRIGADIER GENERAL PATRICK R. RENWICK

Brig. Gen. Patrick R. Renwick was the Assistant Adjutant General-Air, and Commander Indiana Air National Guard, Stout Field, Indianapolis. He was the senior advisor to The Adjutant General and responsible for organizing, training and equipping the 2000 Indiana Airmen, State employees and contractors serving primarily at the 122d Fighter Wing and 181st Intelligence Wing.

Prior to his former assignment, General Renwick served as the Chief of Staff for the Indiana Air National Guard. He preceded those roles as commander of the 122d Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne Indiana, with the responsibility to organize, train and equip 990 professionals to provide decisive firepower and Agile Combat Support to Combatant Commanders worldwide.

General Renwick earned his commission from Officer Training School in 1989 and immediately attended Undergraduate Pilot Training at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma. While on active duty General Renwick served as an A/O A-10 pilot in roles across the Air Force, including multiple remote tours to the Republic of Korea. In 1998 he transitioned to the Indiana Air National Guard, 181st Fighter Wing, Terre Haute, Indiana, where he served as an F-16 pilot, Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Commander, Air Support Operations Squadron Commander and Vice Commander of the 181st Intelligence Wing. While a Colonel he deployed as the Command Joint Inspector General for Combined Joint Interagency Task Force 435 from March 2013 to October 2013, at Camp Phoenix, Afghanistan.
General Renwick took command of the 122nd Fighter Wing in September 2014 and also served as a member of the Air Directorate Field Advisory Council and Chair of the A-10 Weapons System Council from 2015 to 2018. He was a Command Pilot with over 3,300 flying hours and 6 deployments in support of Operations Vigilant Warrior, Southern Watch, Northern Watch, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
