Brigadier General Theresa B. Prince
Brigadier General Theresa B. Prince served as the Air National Guard Assistant to the Chief of the Nurse Corps, Office of the Surgeon General, Defense Health Headquarters, Falls Church, Virginia. In this capacity, she assisted the Chief Nurse of the Air Force in plans, policies, and standards as they relate to Air National Guard assigned nurses. She provided professional advice for the training and personnel utilization in peacetime and wartime. She serves as liaison between other military departments and civilian professionals.
General Prince enlisted in 1978 and received her commission in 1987. Her military experience includes serving as an Aerospace Medical Technician, Flight Nurse Instructor, Advanced Practice Nurse, Chief Nurse Executive and Medical Group Commander. In 1991, Prince deployed to Saudi Arabia as a Flight Nurse in support of operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. She also deployed to Turkey in support of the Kurdish Relief mission. In 1999, Prince deployed to Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Desert Freedom. In 2005 Prince deployed to Balad Air Base, Camp Anaconda, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
