Brigadier General Eric W. Mann

Brig. Gen. Eric W. Mann was the Chief of Staff for the Wyoming Air National Guard. He is responsible for oversight of all Air Guard personnel at the Joint Force Headquarters - Wyoming, and supporting the programs and agendas of the Adjutant General and the Assistant Adjutant General for Air both nationally and locally. He was also responsible for the coordination of support functions between the Joint Force Headquarters, Wyoming and the 153rd Airlift Wing and the 153rd Command and Control Squadron, located at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. Other duties include advising the Adjutant General and Assistant Adjutant General-Air, Wyoming National Guard on mentorship and leadership programs, assisting in the development of expanded military operating area airspace in Wyoming, negotiating for additional land at the Cheyenne Regional Airport for future Air National Guard operations and assisting in the development of new missions appropriate for the Wyoming National Guard. Additionally General Mann is the ANG Advisor to the Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs, building, sustaining and expanding theater security cooperation and international relationships as critical enablers for expeditionary air and space forces in the global operations.

General Mann received his commission via the Reserve Officer Training Corps from the University of Notre Dame in 1988. He is a command pilot with 95 combat missions and over 3000 total flight hours in the A-10.
