BRIGADIER GENERAL TAMHRA L. HUTCHINS-FRYE

Brigadier General Tamhra L. Hutchins-Frye was the Director for Manpower, Personnel and Services, Air National Guard Readiness Center, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. General Hutchins-Frye served as the senior Air National Guard officer responsible for comprehensive plans and policies covering all life cycles of personnel management, which included advocacy at higher headquarters, end strength management, education and training, resource allocation, and the services program on behalf of the 105,700 Airmen.
General Hutchins-Frye entered the Air National Guard in 1984 as an Airman First Class in the Personnel career field. She was commissioned in 1989 through the Academy of Military Science, Knoxville, Tennessee. She has served in various command and staff positions throughout her career in traditional, Active Guard Reserve, Dual-Status Technician, Title 10 Active Duty, and Statutory Tour status. In her previous assignment, as Director of Joint Staff, Joint Force Headquarters, Arkansas National Guard. She was the state's senior federal full-time National Guard management official. She served as the principal executive assistant and advisor to the Adjutant General and was responsible for managing both joint military and full-time functions throughout the state, over-seeing approximately 2,000 full-time personnel.
