BRIGADIER GENERAL RANDY E. GREENWOOD

Brig Gen. Randy E. Greenwood was the Chief of Staff, Iowa Air National Guard, responsible for readiness and well-being of over 1900 airman tasked to support National Military Strategy and Emergency Response for Domestic Operations. General Greenwood also served as State of Iowa Quartermaster and Installation Commander for Camp Dodge Joint Training Maneuver Center, Johnston, IA, responsible for the management and oversight of all Camp Dodge departments, military functions and tenant activities, provided direct supervision of the full time work force, and was responsible for state property and equipment assigned to the Iowa National Guard.

General Greenwood was commissioned in 1991 through the Academy of Military Science at McGhee Tyson Professional Military Education Center, Knoxville, TN. He has commanded at the Squadron and Wing levels, chaired the Combat Air Forces Council for ANG A4, and completed contingency deployments to Turkey, Kuwait, and Qatar. Prior to receiving his commission, General Greenwood served as an enlisted member of the 132d Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Iowa Air National Guard.
