BRIGADIER GENERAL DONALD P. LAUCIRICA

 

Commander, Land Component Commander

Brigadier General Donald P. Laucirica assumed duties as Commander, Land Component, Colorado Army National Guard in May 2013. He is responsible for the readiness of all the Colorado Army National Guard Units and their 3,700 Citizen-Soldiers. He provides guidance concerning personnel, training, logistics, and safety. Additionally, General Laucirica advises the Assistant Adjutant General - Army on any matters concerning the Colorado Army National Guard.

General Laucirica was commissioned in 1985 through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program at the University of Utah. After commissioning, he served in various assignments in the Utah Army National Guard, Active Duty and then transferring to the Colorado Army National Guard in January 1998.

General Laucirica works for PeopleTec Incorporated. He works as an on-site Systems Engineer at the Missile Defense Operations Integration Center, Schriever Air Force Base. He provides direct support to Modeling and Simulation efforts, for the Directorate of Engineering, and Systems Verification.
