CIVILIAN OCCUPATION
Director, Office of Project Development (OPD), North Dakota Department of Transportation, Bismarck, North Dakota. There are four divisions within the OPD and they are the Design Division, Environmental and Transportation Services Division, Bridge Division, and Materials & Research Division. There are approximately 130 personnel within these divisions, and OPD hires, disciplines, trains, and motivates them. These individuals deliver about 400 projects every year to bid, which is worth approximately $600 million.
