Brigadier General Michael A. Nolan
Brig. Gen. Michael A. Nolan is the Assistant Adjutant General-Air, Idaho National Guard. He is responsible for formulating, developing and coordinating all policies, plans and programs for all units assigned to the Idaho Air National Guard, which includes the 124th Fighter Wing equipped with A-10s, the 266th Range Squadron, the 124th Air Support Operations Squadron, and the 212th Command and Control Squadron.
General Nolan was commissioned as a second Lieutenant in April 1984 through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps Program at the University of Florida. He joined the Idaho Air National Guard 1992. As a guardsman he has held many positions ranging from F-4G Wild Weasel Pilot, A/OA-10 Pilot, Air Liaison Officer to the Director of Staff, Idaho Air National Guard, before taking command of the 124th Fighter Wing.
