BRIGADIER GENERAL GLEN M. BAKER

Brigadier General Glen M. Baker is Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Oklahoma National Guard and also serves as Commander, Oklahoma Air National Guard. He is the principle advisor to The Adjutant General for all Oklahoma Air National Guard matters. General Baker additionally is responsible for the combat readiness and operational effectiveness for all Oklahoma Air National Guard units.

General Baker has been a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard since January 1980. Since receiving his commission in 1984 at the Academy of Military Science in Knoxville, Tennessee, General Baker has served 137th Airlift Wing as an enlisted airframe repair specialist, maintenance officer, co-pilot, aircraft commander, instructor pilot, flight examiner, chief of tactics, chief of current operations, chief of standardization and evaluation, director of operations, 185th Airlift Squadron commander, 137th Operations Group Commander, 137th Vice Wing Commander, and 137th Airlift Wing Commander. General Baker also served in Sarajevo with Joint Endeavor in 1996, Kosovo with Operation Allied Force in 1999 & 2001, Saudi Arabia and Qatar with Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, and Uzbekistan with Operation Enduring Freedom in 2004.
