Special
Assistant to the Director, Army National Guard
Brigadier General Timothy J. Wojtecki represents the Army National Guard Directorate as a liaison between Headquarters, Department of the Army, and Joint Staff with principal responsibilities for Budget Programming, Formulation, Execution, Contracting, Acquisitions, and Information Technology for sustainment of the National Guard's Force of Citizen-Soldiers serving in the 54 States, Territories and the District of Columbia.
General Wojtecki was commissioned in 1988 through the Reserve Officers Training Corps program at Cleveland State University as a field artillery officer in the Ohio Army National Guard. In 1991, he joined the Utah National Guard and in 1996 accepted a job at the National Guard Bureau in Arlington where he has held several key leadership positions in resource management, which include Director J-8; Comptroller of the Army National Guard; Deputy to the G8, Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) and Director of National Guard Bureau Force Structure, Resource and Assessment (NGB-J8). He has served as on the DA Army Staff and is Joint Qualified Level IV.
