Brigadier General Timothy L. Frye serves as the Director, US Central Command Deployment and Distribution Operations Center (CDDOC).  The CDDOC synchronizes transportation, distribution, and sustainment for the 20 countries of the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).  The CDDOC projects and maintains national power with the greatest speed and agility, the highest efficiency, and with the most reliable level of accuracy.  The CDDOC links the strategic deployment and distribution processes to operational and tactical functions in support of the Warfighter, thereby improving total materiel distribution within USCENTCOM's AOR.

General Frye joined the Air Force from his home near Salt Rock, West Virginia and received his commission in 1980 from the United States Air Force Academy. He completed undergraduate pilot training in 1981, and his flying assignments have included positions such as chief of training, chief of scheduling, chief of tactics, chief of standardization and evaluation, chief of plans, operations officer, and operations group commander.  Most recently, General Frye served as the Assistant Adjutant General for Air for the WV National Guard and was dual hatted as the Director of Engineering and Logistics (NG J4) for the National Guard Bureau.  Previously, he served as the chief of staff for the WV National Guard and the Deputy Director of NG J4.  He commanded the 130th Airlift Wing for ten years, during which time he deployed as the Vice Commander, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing.  He has also deployed as the Director of Mobility Forces for Air Force Central Command and served for two years as the operations officer and Deputy Commander for OPERATION DEEP FREEZE, a joint mission supporting the U.S. Antarctic Program with U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army and U.S. Coast Guard personnel and assets. General Frye has flown in multiple operations from DESERT STORM to ENDURING FREEDOM. He is a command pilot with over 6,500 hours in C-130, HC-130, and LC-130 aircraft
