Brigadier General Catherine F. Jorgensen is currently serving as Commander, Land Component Command, Alaska Army National Guard.
General Jorgensen received her commission in 1985 after graduating as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Alabama, Reserve Officers Training Corps Program. She served on active duty and in the Army Reserves prior to joining the Alaska Army National Guard in September 2000. General Jorgensen is Dual Staff Command qualified and designated as the Joint Task Force - 49 Commander for Domestic Operations.
