Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Colorado National Guard
Brigadier General Dana M. Capozzella assumed duties as the Assistant Adjutant General - Army, Colorado National Guard in October 2009 where she supports The Adjutant General as a primary advisor on all Army National Guard matters. She also serves as Commander, Colorado National Guard and is responsible for the readiness, training, and policies for the Colorado Army National Guard to support its State and Federal Mission.
General Capozzella was commissioned in 1987 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps program at Saint Lawrence University. After commissioning, she served in various assignments on active duty and the Army Reserves; transferring to the Colorado Army National Guard in January 2000.
