BRIGADIER GENERAL DONALD M. LAGOR

 

Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Rhode Island National Guard

Brigadier General Donald M. Lagor is Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Rhode Island National Guard. He serves as the chief advisor to the Adjutant General on all matters pertaining to Air National Guard programs, policies, operations, management and command and control of the Rhode Island Air National Guard. General Lagor provides staff assistance guidance and direction concerning Air National Guard personnel, administration, training, recruiting and retention incentives and budgetary matters.

General Lagor received his commission through the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science at McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base in February 1987. He then attended Logistics Plans and Programs Officer Course at Lowry Air Force Base, Colorado. General Lagor has held numerous garrison logistical plans and programs positions within the Rhode Island Air National Guard. Additionally, General Lagor served as the Air Force Forces, attached to Joint Task Force - Southwest Asia during Operation Desert Focus. In March 2003, he deployed as the Division Chief (Rear) for United States Central Command's Current Operations and Plans Division of J6 Directorate during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
