Commander, 16th Engineer Brigade

Brigadier General Robert C. Clouse Jr. is Commander, 16th Engineer Brigade. As the 16th Engineer Brigade Commander, he has command responsibility for the state's engineer assets inclusive of the brigade headquarters and two line battalions.

General Clouse received his active Army commission through the Kent State University Army Reserve Officer Training Corp program in 1976. He has commanded at the detachment, company, battalion, and group levels while serving in staff assignments at the company, battalion, group, brigade, Headquarters State Area Command, and Joint Force Headquarters levels. Recent assignments include 416th Engineer Group Commander; Staff Action Officer (Ohio Joint Force Headquarters); Director, J2 (Ohio Joint Force Headquarters); Director, Construction Facilities Management Office (Ohio Joint Force Headquarters) and Assistant Adjutant General-Army, Ohio National Guard.
