Brigadier General Carlos E. Rodriguez is Assistant Adjutant General - Air, Puerto Rico National Guard, Puerto Rico Joint Force San Juan, Puerto Rico. He advises the Adjutant General and Joint Force Headquarters staff on all matters related to the Puerto Rico Air National Guard, and oversees the activities of the Puerto Rico Air Guard, including an Airlift Wing and two geographically separated units with over 1,200 officer and enlisted force assigned.
General Rodriguez received a direct commission in 1978. He served on active duty as a Staff Judge Advocate from 1979 to 1984. After discharge from active duty, he joined the Puerto Rico Air National Guard. General Rodriguez has occupied various positions in the legal career field until his appointment as Assistant Adjutant General-Air in 2007.
