Brigadier General Clayton W. Moushon

Brig. Gen. Clayton W. Moushon serves as the first Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander, Legal Operations Agency (AFLOA). His responsibilities include advising the Commander on all matters throughout the ANG, training legal professionals through the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s School and providing cutting-edge legal information technology support for ANG legal offices worldwide.

General Moushon serves as Assistant Vice-Chair of the ANG JA Council, and assists with the leadership and management of the ANG JA Assistants, the ANG JA National Additional Duty Program and the ANG JA Liaison Program. He performs inspections and staff visits under Article 6 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the AF and ANG Inspector General Programs. He sits as a member of the TJAG Corps Reserve Executive Council and TJAG's Board of Directors. General Moushon directly assists the ANG Assistant to the TJAG with providing force management, force development, professional supervision and leadership for ANG judge advocates and paralegals worldwide on behalf of the Director, ANG (DANG) and TJAG.

Prior to his current position, General Moushon completed a one-year active duty tour in Afghanistan where he served as the Director, Rule of Law, United States Forces Afghanistan. During his deployment, he was responsible to the Resolute Support Commander for all matters relating to the detailed conduct, control and evaluation of the ongoing operations of the Rule of Law Field Forces Afghanistan. General Moushon also previously served as the Chief of Staff, and Commander, ILANG, Joint Force Headquarters, Springfield, Ill.
